HAPPY FASHION WEEK!

Today (well now is already yesterday....) has been the open day of Milan fashion week. This is gonna be a REAL week, after all the controversies provoked by Anna Wintour who asked last time to reduce the calendar (no comment...). Everybody got worked up to satisfy the nice Queen of Vogue the other time...
But now finally all designers returned to their senses and found themselves unite with a common purpose. From the 22nd to the 28th of September there gonna be around 80 fashion shows, plus 65 presentations, events and parties.
For the first time all the fashion shows are taking place in the centre of Milan instead of the trade fair area: the runways are in the historical buildings of the city: Palazzo Giureconsulti, Loggia dei Mercanti, Palazzo Morando (with a lot of events such as "Who is on Next", "One size fits all", and the exposition of Marco Glaviano's photos), Palazzo Clerici, l'Arco della Pace (who will be restored with the contribution of Roberto Cavalli).
Milan is going to be really exciting in these days...

Here's a little selection of the first...

Happy Fashion Week everyboby!

ERMANNO SCERVINO

Scervino choose a presentation for his Spring/Summer Collection, really feminine and delicate.
Trasparency, laces and little socks with the high sandals...

JOHN RICHMOND

Strong collection, inspired by the seventies.
Tailleurs and waistcoast with a masculine touch, swarovsky, fringe, laces and a lot of white...

ALBERTA FERRETTI

An airy and delicate collection. Light and impalpable.
A nude palette of colours: white, beige, green. Long chiffon dresses or short skirts...

GUCCI

Frida Giannini designed a very sexy and sophisticated collection. High waist for the trousers, strong colours and a little bit of folk with fringe in the dresses and in the accessories (lots of clutch bags)...

See you soon! Maybe in Milan... ;)

  2. mi è piaciuto un sacco lo stile rilassato di alberta ferretti, anche se le donne sono senza tacchi! Gucci? gli azzardamenti di colori "in"

  3. Secondo me stanno bene proprio senza tacchi... Più eteree, rillassate e naturali...
